Tombs, Boston, Office Photography

I recently shot the band tombs, on relapse records.

Also, the band Have Heart, on Bridge9 records is currently using a photo from their record release for a poster advertising their impending east and west coast tour.

It was remarkably warm in Boston the past two days, so I went out and shot for a while.

On a more professional note, here are a couple of photos done for the Sheraton Hotel and Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC.

Michelle in Boston

A great friend of mine, Michelle, came up to Boston this past week. Some photos.

The grave stones in the old graveyards have some of the most gnarly designs for decoration.

Clouds, Doomriders, Edge day 2008

Clouds and Doomriders played at the middle east last thursday:

Edge Day 2008 took place in Haverhill, MA. It was a rad show and while it was a long day, during some of the bands, seeing all the kids get so into it, diving, singing along, and how much fun a huge group of kids can have with out any chemical influence reminded me of just why i identify with the straight edge lifestyle. still nailed to the X.

two shows

Two shows dominated my labor day weekend, one being Crime in stereo/colin of arabia/fake problems/debaser at the ICC church on saturday and Disappearer/furnace/fight amp/my america is watching tigers die at the abbey lounge on sunday.
Both shows were fantastic, though the attendance of the disappearer show was sadly very lacking... but it was the one weekend where half of the population of Boston is moving.
The ICC, so far, tends to produce great pictures since the stage is medium height there's a chance for both stage dives and ample mic time for the kids (though stage diving is prohibited due to past legal snafus). There's usually a solid turn out and there's decent lighting.
The Abbey Lounge seem pretty rad, with lots of mutli colored lights and a small, tight stage. It would be gnarly to see a show there with a packed room.

On to the pictures
