in other news, i've got a nikkor 50mm 1.8 on the way, am going to see victor's band, war elephant, play saturday, and my friend andy has asked me to do some portraits of him. look out for an update after the weekend

the modern life is war show this past weekend was one of the most fun show experiences (the bands, the friends, the trip) i've had in a very long time. pictures are here
